6.4. Informing others about commits
It is often useful to inform others when you commit a
new revision of a file. The `-i' option of the
modules file, or the loginfo file, can be
used to automate this process. See modules.
See loginfo. You can use these features of cvs
to, for instance, instruct cvs to mail a
message to all developers, or post a message to a local
newsgroup.
